Cindy Crawford is breathing a sigh of relief now that a German con man, accused of trying to blackmail the supermodel, has been sentenced to two years in jail. Edis Kayalar allegedly stole a photo from Crawford’s former nanny that depicted the model’s 7-year-old daughter gagged and bound to a chair. The nanny claimed she took the photo as a joke while playing cops and robbers with the girl. But after Kayalar got his mitts on the shot, he demanded $100,000 from Crawford. The German admitted asking for the money but claimed it was not extortion but rather “to cover costs” for his attempt to warn the supermodel that the nanny was not a good influence.
