There was a time not so long ago, when Peyton Manning was labeled as a player who couldn’t win the big games. More specifically, he was a quarterback who had particular trouble beating the Patriots [team stats].

For too many games of significance to count, Bill Belichick & Co. were the bane of Manning’s existence. The quarterback seemed to have his worst outings with the Patriots on the opposite side, as he was just 2-8 over the course of his first 10 games -- playoffs included -- against the Belichick-coached Pats.
