Draft hopes high for NU star Jamie Oleksiak

A fire-alarm test was buzzing in the background as imposing Northeastern freshman defenseman Jamie Oleksiak sat in his dorm room and talked about his prospects for the upcoming NHL draft, which begins tomorrow night at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn.

Oleksiak, a 6-foot-7, 244- pound blueliner with Zdeno Chara traits, is currently ranked No. 13 among all eligible North American skaters.
