WASHINGTON — The White House is backing down from trying to get senators to remove some special deals from the health care bill.

Senior adviser David Axelrod says the White House only objected to deals that affected just one state, such one involving Medicaid and Nebraska that’s being cut from the legislation.

THe obamam culture of corruption continues. The open bribing of officials and not one official questions it.

I guess the dem and libs are ok with this as long as they don't have to work for anything.

Wake me when this abomination of a bill becomes something that will actually HELP the middle class taxpayer and not just another middle class tax hike.

That you would elect a representative, send them to the White House, and then have them blindly and sheep-like do whatever a green, ill-prepared, failure of a liberal, American-hating president told them to do is unthinkable.

You don't want this horrendous bill - yet your representative will deliberately throw your vote back in your face...telling you that you don't know what is best for you - and that they do what THEY want, once in office.

You need to teach them how to represent and make believers out of them. Give them one chance to toe the line as your representative and senator - then vote for someone with less of an ego and more respect for their constituents if they do not vote the will of the people.

Call your representative and senator and tell them to vote this fiasco down. Then become active in removing them and replacing him or her with someone worthy if they continue with their self-destructive course.

Obama is tickling their ears with comments like "this is the chance of a generation" and "The president very pointedly talked about how important this is historically," said Rep. Raul Grijalva, D-Ariz., "how he needs our help." Obama told them that "'this is an opportunity, it'll give us momentum'" on other issues, the congressman said."

Tell our senators and representatives to make his or her historical moment by voting NO to fiscally-irresponsible legislation.

They had to stop it. The offer of bribing a senator to drop out of an election/ race (Re: Sestak Vs Arlen Specter) is impeachable and criminal.

Mr. Obama must have cut classes that day when the criminal law and US Constitution lecture class was convening.

I have just a couple of questions. How can anyone be tried for taking bribes (Blagojevich)when President Obama is doing the very same thing, BUYING the 51 votes needed to ram this health care down our throats? Isn't this illegal? Blagojevich is going to trial for selling the open seat in Illinois so if it's against the law for him to do so then what makes it O.K. for Obama to bribe senators without being indited for it? Impeachment proceeding should start NOW! For him BRAKING the very laws that is sending Blagojevich to court. Obama's making the bribe, Blagojevich was excepting the bribes..... something that makes you go hhhhhhmmmmmmm WTF? Someone please help me understand what the difference is. How can any of you be O.K. with this?
