SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Senate candidate Carly Fiorina on Saturday attempted to win over California Republicans by attacking two of their strongest dislikes — incumbent Democrat Barbara Boxer and a federal government she says is broken and on an out-of-control spending spree.

Fiorina is the former Hewlett-Packard chief executive making her first run at public office. The other candidates in the race — former congressman Tom Campbell and state Assemblyman Chuck DeVore — are well-known commodities among the GOP faithful.

He was given a standing ovation by Republicans when he disclosed his "time" spent with the minor girl.

Nice...Republicans give a standing ovation to a guy that was with a nude 14 year old girl.

Transparency, as used in the humanities and in a social context more generally, implies openness, communication, and accountability. It is a metaphorical extension of the meaning a "transparent" object is one that can be seen through. Transparent procedures include open meetings, financial disclosure statements, the freedom of information legislation, budgetary review, audits, etc.

The way the Dems have protected Studds, Frank, and Clinton, I think that they have forfeited the right to comment on anyone's personal behavior.

Nothing would make me happier than to see Boxer lose her seat. She is a menace.
