Gov hopefuls among targets at Southie St. Patrick’s Day Breakfast

Gubernatorial hopefuls took a ribbing at this morning’s St. Patrick’s Day Breakfast in South Boston, with Senate President Therese Murray kicking off the annual tradition by poking fun at the candidates.

“We all know about Gov. Patrick’s book deal, but now he’s hit a snag and might have to scrap the project. Maybe it’s because of the working title,” said Murray as state Sen. Jack Hart - the event’s host - hoisted up the placard, “How I Got Re-elected, by Deval Patrick.”
