If you ask Anna Romagnoli why she opened La Romagnoli & Son, an Italian food shop/cafe, in her hometown of Watertown, she’ll tell you family and fate.

Family - because cooking is in her DNA. Romagnoli’s late parents, Franco and Margaret, hosted America’s first authentic Italian cooking television show (on PBS in the mid-1970s). They went on to operate several respected local Italian restaurants through the 1980s. Anna cooked at the Faneuil Hall location.
