On a cold autumn night, there’s nothing quite like a good, old-fashioned story to warm the cockles. The two-part “Nicholas Nickleby” at the Lyric Stage Company is all the yarn-spinning you can handle, cranked up to maximum Dickens.
The Lyric is presenting both parts of David Edgar’s adaptation of the classic novel in repertory. “Part I” started out with a bang last week, and this past weekend “Part II” arrived. Thankfully, Spiro Veloudos’ 24-person cast, taking on 150-plus roles, isn’t exhausted yet.
