BJ’s CEO discusses Pine Street Inn work

Natick-based BJ’s Wholesale Club operates more than 180 stores, mainly on the East Coast, competing with the larger Costco and Sam’s Club chains.

BJ’s was in the news earlier this month when reports surfaced that private-equity firm Leonard Green & Partners, which owns a 9.5 percent stake in the company, planned to approach BJ’s with an offer to take it private.
