September 2nd, 2010 Dictator Deval
Our Governor promised to cut our property taxes. It never happened. During his tenure in office, he has threatened to raise the gas tax 28 cents and tolls to $7. Deval also supports a graduated income tax. Patrick thinks you are the ATM for Bacon Hill. Send a message on November 2nd.

September 1st, 2010 Jim Bender picks up major endorsement
Gilchrist said the following, “American needs real leaders like Jim Bender to take common sense values to Washington, DC. Jim will ensure that Congress actually enforces current immigration laws to protect the jobs of Americans and the dollars of taxpayers. That is why I wholeheartedly endorse Jim Bender to be the newest member from New Hampshire in the United States Senate.” Bender wants to secure our borders and to institute an employment verification system with severe penalties for companies that hire illegal immigrants. He also opposes amnesty. New Hampshire voters, if you are concerned about illegal immigration, then Jim Bender is your candidate.

August 31st, 2010 Mary Connaughton should be flattered
Seriously, we cannot elect a former legislator to the office of auditor. That would be like putting a fox into the hen house.

August 30th, 2010 Blame Bush continues
Now all the Bush-haters will go on at length about how Bush dropped the ball. I have three words for them — Gulf Oil Spill. How long did it take for the Obama administration to react? How long? Was it weeks? Yes. Wasn’t the Democrats favorite strategists, James Carville, screaming “people are dying down here” trying to get Obama to do something? Let me also remind the Bush-bashers that Louisiana voters then went on to elect a Republican Governor, so I guess they did not totally blame the Republicans for Katrina. Last week we were bombarded with more bad economic news. Housing sales fell again. I didn’t think they could go any lower. Unemployment went up. And some analysts believe the stock market is poised to take another sharp decline. It must be Bush’s fault. He passed the $787 billion stimulus package that did not work. Oops. No, that happened under President Obama’s leadership. Where is the recovery? I thought President Obama said this was going to be the “summer of recovery.” Is there any one other than Vice President Joe Blunder who believes the stimulus bill worked?

August 27th, 2010 An Auditor for Auditor???
I love her proposal on calling for an audit of the State Legislature. It should have been done years ago. Where does the $60 million go??? Why is the state legislature exempt from a review by the State Auditor? When elected Connaughton will file legislation seeking this accountability. Do you think Guy Glodis would do that to his Bacon Hill buddies? If you think so, I can sell you some swamp land in Florida. The election for Auditor is simple. Let’s elect an auditor.

August 26th, 2010 The Keyes to beating Therese Murray Last week I had the opportunity to meet Tom Keyes, who is running for the State Senate against Senate President Therese Murray. In a year when polls say 54% of voters are going incumbent Democrats, Tom Keyes has a good chance for bumping off the Senate President. Senator Scott Brown trounced Coakley in this district. Listen to Tom and his issues. I think you will be impressed. I would like to thank Angela Davis and Robert Griems for helping me with this project.

August 26th, 2010 Mr. President, let them fish!
These fishermen are protesting government over-regulation that is putting them out of business. They say their allotments are based on bad science. Haven’t we heard about bad science before? Didn’t it result in changing the global warming fear campaign to climate change? So let me recap. The financial industry is bad. Banks are bad. Car companies do better under federal government management. The student loan business is better managed by the federal government. Of course, oil companies are always bad. The Las Vegas tourism industry is bad. Other than wind mills is there an industry Obama likes? I agree with Tea Party leader Christen Varley’s statement, “It is disappointing, once again, to see the President supporting job killing policies in order to satisfy an ideology.”

August 25th, 2010 Another Biden Blunder?
How is this ’summer of recovery’ working out for you? Unemployment is on the rise again, the stock market is predicted to sharply tumble soon, credit card rates are being hiked, and home sales are devastatingly low. Impressed with President Obama? One person still believes in him — Vice President Joe Blunder. Yesterday, Joe jumped all over Congressman Boehner’s economic speech. He thinks things are going well and supports the job Turbo Tim is doing. Yikes! Talk about being out of touch. We are getting pummeled every day with more bad economic news. Just look at home sales. Yet, the liberals are still clinging to their beliefs that the economic stimulus plan worked. It did not. Spending $1500 on road signs does not revive the economy. The money was wasted on pet pork projects. If we had to these tax dollars, it should have gone to upgrading the national grid at least. Of course, our Vice President blamed Bush again. That’s right it was Bush’s stimulus package. Not!

August 25th, 2010 AG Blowing in the Wind
There are many problems with wind power. Without taxpayer paid subsidies it is far more expensive to produce for electricity. There is no storage of this power, so it only works when the wind is blowing. Now we are trying to build these turbines out in the ocean. The costs are going to skyrocket leaving Cape Cod residents with huge electrical bills. This is not what Cape Cod needs seeing as residents already get clobbered with title 5 costs. As one of my close friends said about dealing with his septic tank problems, “I buried a very expensive Cadillac in my backyard.” Today we learn from Jay Fitzgerald’s article that you don’t have the right to know about pricing information for Cape Wind. Marsha, formerly Martha Coakley, is once again hard at work protecting you. Well that is protecting you from knowing the details. Key details on the wind rate settlement are not being disclosed. So much for transparency! Cape Cod residents should be demanding all the information, because they are going to be paying for it. Republican Cape Cod voters should keep this in mind when going to the polls on September 14th. They need to write in either Guy Carbone or Jim McKenna. On a side note: I still cannot understand why people are so determined to build in Nantucket Sound instead of considering an alternative like the military base.
